Part C - Investigating Animal Cells

Red Blood cells			What can you say about the shape of these blood cells? What is specialised about RBC? How does this slide show the shape of RBC?
White blood cells			How do you work out the ratio of WBC compared to RBC? Count the number of WBC. Estimate the number of RBC?
Ciliated columnar epithelial cells	This is a sample of the different tissues that make up the gut of a mammal. Where are the columnar epithelial cell located?		You need to locate the columnar epithelial cells which line the gut of the intestine.
Motor Neurones			On a motor neuron locate all the parts of the cell: dendrite, cell body, nucleus, nucleolus and axon. If you cannot see all the parts search for an online image to help you.
